Billing Policy
How payments, seller payouts, and refunds work on Vaza.ng.
Last updated: September 2026
This page explains how payments, payouts, and refunds work on Vaza.
1. How you're charged
When you buy an item, you pay the full listed price plus Vaza's commission through our payment provider, Flutterwave, using a card or bank transfer.
2. When sellers get paid
Sellers are paid out promptly once a buyer's payment is confirmed - there's no waiting period tied to delivery. If a payout can't be completed automatically (for example, if a seller hasn't added their bank details), our team completes it manually as soon as possible.
3. Refunds and disputes
If a dispute is resolved in the buyer's favor, the buyer is refunded to their original payment method through Flutterwave, typically taking a few business days to appear depending on the bank. If the seller had already been paid for that order, the refunded amount is recorded as owed by the seller and deducted automatically from their future payouts on Vaza.
4. Fees
Vaza charges a commission on completed sales, added to the buyer's total at checkout - the current rate is shown clearly before you complete a purchase. If this rate changes, we'll display the new rate before checkout and update this page.
5. Failed or incomplete payments
If a payment fails or is not completed, the order remains unpaid and no money moves. You can retry payment from your order page.
6. Currency
All prices on Vaza are listed and charged in Nigerian Naira (₦).
7. Questions about a charge
