How to Sell on Vaza
A step-by-step walkthrough of listing an item, getting paid, and fulfilling orders on Vaza.
Selling on Vaza follows a simple sequence: list the item, respond to interested buyers, and get paid once the order is placed. Here's how each part actually works.
Creating your listing
Go to "Sell an item" and fill in the details honestly — title, category, condition, price, and at least three clear photos (Vaza requires a minimum of three, since listings with more real photos consistently get more genuine interest). Choose the right category and subcategory so your item shows up when buyers browse or search for it, and fill in whatever specification fields are available for your category — brand, model, storage, and similar details help your listing surface in more relevant searches.
Setting your price and delivery options
Check what similar items are currently listed for before you set your price — pricing noticeably above the going rate is one of the most common reasons a listing sits untouched for weeks. Decide whether you'll offer delivery, pickup only, or both, and set your delivery areas if you're offering to ship.
Once your listing is live
Buyers can message you directly with questions before they buy — respond promptly, since a fast reply is often the deciding factor when a buyer is comparing a few similar listings. You can also mark an item as sold out at any point if you've sold it elsewhere or run out of stock.
Getting paid
When a buyer checks out, payment goes through Vaza's secure payment gateway rather than directly to you — this is what lets buyers trust the platform enough to complete a purchase in the first place. Once the order is confirmed, prepare it for shipping or pickup as agreed with the buyer.
After the sale
For shipped items, mark the order as shipped once it's on its way so the buyer knows to expect it. The buyer confirms receipt once it arrives, which is what releases the payment to you. If a buyer has an issue with the order, you'll be notified and can respond directly — most issues get resolved through direct conversation before they ever need to become a formal dispute.
Building a track record
Every completed sale and every review builds up your seller profile over time, and buyers do check this before committing to a purchase, especially a more expensive one. Reliable listings, honest descriptions, and quick responses are what turn a first-time buyer into a repeat one.
